Following the departure of star reporter Isobel Sutherland to her new job in Glasgow the circulation of the Lochdubh and District Listener began to go steadily and dramatically downhill.
However following an employee buyout by Flora (who had recently seen Citizen Kane and now dreams of a starting a media empire following a modest win on the National Lottery) and the rename of the paper to the Tittle Tattler its fortunes have gone from strength to strength.
Unexpectedly Flora has given up her knitting, as she has recently found that spinning the web is far more satisfying, and so she has wasted no time in starting the Internet edition of the paper that you are now reading.
Through the use of the latest, highly expensive, technology (actually Flora's win wasn't that modest) we at the Lochdubh Tittle Tattler have been able to record some of the local goings on and these are shown on our pages with logos looking almost exactly the same as the ones below.
Real Audio 2 sound file14KTo hear these recording you will need a sound card, a 14,400 BPS or faster modem and a Real Audio 2 or 3 player. If you don't have the player you can download it from  Real Audio
27KTo hear these recording you will need a sound card, a 28,800 BPS or faster modem and a Real Audio 3 player. If you don't have the player you can download it from  Real Audio
To see if you have a player already installed click the Real Audio logos above and if the player starts - you've got it. If it doesn't - you haven't.
The Real audio players are a free plugin for Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. The advantage of them is that they enable small size files for use on the web (None of our soundfiles is larger than 72KB and most are around 20-40 KB in size). Sound File sizes are shown to the right of the logo
