Directions
From the car park in Plockton turn left and head back up the road out of the village and continue on this road until you reach the first road on the left.
Follow this road past Creag nan Garadh passing also on the way the section of this road which appears in the opening scenes of "The honourable policeman" and "More than a game" until you reach the T junction.
Take the left turning and go past the turning for Duncraig Castle and continue on this road for several miles until you reach the turning on the left for Achmore.
Go through Achmore and after a short distance you will join the main A890 road. Go up the hill past the turnoff for Stromeferry and shortly after the road changes to single track there is a large car park on the left with fine views over Loch Carron.
Go past this car park and a few hundred yards further on (where the crash barriers end) there is a largish rough parking area on the left. It is from here that the scene from "More than a game" where Dolores Balfour's motor bike goes past Hamish Macbeth and Neil the Bus was filmed.
If you continue round the large bend in the road and down the hill towards Attadale for a mile or so there is space to park on the left of the road where the view across Loch Carron which appears in "A Pillar of the community" was filmed.
